Now a little about me and why I’m uniquely qualified to help you sell your business.
My entire 40-year career has been in professional sales. I joined IBM after graduating from Va. Tech in 1970. At IBM I received extensive sales training to sell million dollar computers systems to the federal government in Washington, D.C. Successfully selling computers for 10 years, I was promoted in 1980, and spent the next 5 years as a Federal Sales manager managing a 15 man sales team. I took early retirement in 1986 to come to Florida to start a business with a partner. Unfortunately, we could not agree on a business plan, disappointed I decided to strike out on my own and contacted a business broker to help me buy a business. I eventually bought a manufacturing business and in my first year won a sole source contract with Walt Disney World.
Over the next 15 years, I bought, managed and sold 3 successful businesses. This experience has given me the ability to safely guide both a seller or a buyer through the selling and buying process.
It was a natural transition from business owner to business broker. Who is better qualified to help a business owner sell their business than a professional salesman who had previously bought and sold 3 businesses in Florida
I’ve spent the last 10 years working business brokerage. In all humility, after 40 years of professional selling, I’m good at what I do and think I’m uniquely qualified to help an owner sell their business.
